November 2025 Update – Certificates

We are excited to introduce a new feature that makes it easier for learners to showcase their achievements. This update brings downloadable badge certificates, improved job matching, and various enhancements to make the platform more reliable and user-friendly.

Badge Certificates Now Available

We are introducing downloadable certificates for badges, giving learners a professional way to showcase their achievements. Each badge you earn on Navigatr automatically generates a printable certificate - no design or admin required.

You can download and print your verifiable certificate anytime. Each certificate includes a unique QR code linking back to your verified badge on Navigatr, making it easy for employers and others to verify your achievement.

To download your certificate, simply log in to navigatr.app, navigate to your profile page, select the Badges tab, click on the badge you would like to download, and select 'Certificate' from the More Options menu (three vertical dots). The certificate will be generated as a PDF that you can save, print, or share.

Certificates use your branding and colours, ensuring a professional and consistent look across all your achievements. The system automatically handles certificate generation, so you can focus on issuing and earning badges while we take care of the presentation.

Better Job Matching

We are improving how job recommendations work to help you find opportunities that match your skills and experience level:

• Improved Level Filtering - Job recommendations now use level-based filters instead of salary ranges, providing more accurate matches for apprenticeship, internship, voluntary, and standard positions
• Enhanced Job Feeds - Pathway job feeds now include keywords and support up to 20 job recommendations
• Smarter Filtering - When specific industries, levels, or occupation names aren't defined, the system automatically uses skills to refine job suggestions

Improved User Experience

We are making several improvements to enhance your experience on Navigatr:

• Profile Privacy - You can now prevent your profile from being indexed by search engines, giving you more control over your online presence
• Badge Improvements - Fixed the Claim button in user profiles and updated badge stat icons for better clarity
• Visual Updates - Improved colour consistency, including matching the missing billing information colour to the navigation red

Better Performance and Reliability

We are making improvements to platform performance and reliability:

• Caching - Improved caching for certificate generation, including provider brand colours and background URLs for faster processing
• Security - Enabled SSL certificate verification when calling external URLs to ensure secure connections
• Error Handling - Better error handling for API calls, including support for 503 status codes and improved exception handling

These improvements help pages load faster and make the platform more reliable.
